################################################################### # Data release of ALLPATHS-LG de novo assembly for Ler-1. # date: 2011_05_31 # # Questions? Please contact # Xi Wang # # ################################################################### LLPATHS-LG assembler with version allpathslg-35762 was applied to de novo assemble Ler-1 sequences (1). Since ALLPATHS-LG requires overlapping paired-end and mate-pair reads, we generated 64.5 million 101 bp paired-end reads and 8.7 million 40 bp mate pair reads from the Ler-1 sequencing libraries with an average clone length of 178 bp and 2kb, respectively. The defalt parameters were used, except that USE_LONG_JUMPS was set to false, as long jumping libraries with size larger than 20 kbp were not included in the analysis. ALLPATHS-LG was run on Max-Planck-Institute cluster of server with 128GB RAM. 1. Gnerre S et al. (2010) High-quality draft assemblies of mammalian genomes from massively parallel sequence data.
